Possession and orientation.
WALA: Position and Orientation.
I worked with a buddy and we created this treasure map.
We had to include where the treasure was located, a forest, compass, a cave, a village, a lake and a mountain or volcano.
Next Step:
To be able to write and follow directions that use positional language.

Inquiry
WALA: the Waitangi Wetlands. In our Inquiry groups we had to research an animal, plant or insect. We had to find out if the Waitangi Wetlands is a good place for it to live and grow.
We also had to create a way of showing our learning. Here is a video of how we presented our findings.
